A look back over 2021...

Can you believe we are in 2022?  Most of us are glad to see the back of 2021, but aside from the pandemic, 2021 has been an exciting year at Michael Middleton Ceramics.  We got back out in front of people during the summer at events such as Under the Oaks, Cork and Craft Wednesdays, Williamsburg 2nd Sundays and the Hermitage Art Show. We loved meeting new people and sharing our story with you all! We designed and launched our 'ALL THINGS POT' Apparel and our 'Pot Dealer' and 'Pot Head' Tees, hats and beanies were very popular. You can get yours on our website here!

We auctioned off a spectacular Renegade 6 pot and raised over $700 for the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, plus our Christmas Ornament this year was a huge success with over 400 sold!  As you know part proceeds from the sale of all our horsehair pottery goes directly to the Fund to care for these beautiful creatures. We also donated 50 to the Fund to sell at 100% profit!

The Marks we Make project was launched, where we use ceramic art to highlight a person or community that impacts our society.  Our first honoree was none other than Mr James Frye, who has helped so many local school children over his 28 years in education, and his Foundation that awards them with generous scholarships. Our 2nd piece is ready for unveiling and we will be posting about it over the next month or two so keep watching our social media for more information.

We also donated a rather special Amadeo pot to the Visitor Center in Currituck so if you are passing stop in and take a selfie with it, don't forget to tag us!

These are just a few of the highlights from 2021, we had many more and if you want to keep up with all things Michael Middleton Ceramics you should subscribe to our newsletter, Mudman Messenger HERE.

We can not wait to share all the new things we have planned for 2022...Michael Middleton Ceramics is going BIG this year, just you wait and see!

In the meantime, Happy New Year to you all!
