Mud-man Blog November

Wow! November has been quite a month! After a semi-successful 'test fire' of the new wood kiln, we have been busy making improvements and adjustments to ensure that our 'first firing' scheduled for early December is a huge success and we achieve sustained maximum temperatures. We will be posting a timeline of our first firing on all our social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok (scan the code in the image) so if you don't follow us then click the link to make sure you don't miss it!

In other news, The International Museum of the Horse in Lexington, Kentucky are now in possession of the large Captain piece I created for them in honor of the Corolla Wild Horses here in OBX, NC. We will keep you posted about when it will be on display. If you don't know Captain's story then you can read all about him, and some of the other special legendary wild horses, on our website.

Unfortunately, some of these wild horses are no longer with us and we therefore have limited stock of their hair to make pieces with, and we believe that this makes them more collectible.

We currently have pieces on the website for Captain, Amadeo, Ellie-Mae and Valor, and we are going to be adding to these collections over the coming weeks  featuring new horses and pieces you can purchase for yourself or for a loved one. These make wonderful unique Christmas gifts, plus you will not only be buying locally made items, a portion of the sale goes directly to support the Corolla Wild Horse Fund in OBX.
