Well, we are not sure what happened to July and August, but we are gradually catching up with everything! It's been super busy here at Michael Middleton Ceramics what with a summer full of events, like EVERY week since June! We are not complaining, it is fabulous to get out and meet the public and be able to do 'normal' things this summer, 2020 was such a dud! We kicked off summer with a brilliant few days at Under the Oaks in Corolla, albeit the first day when a tropical storm nearly blew all the exhibitors away, quite literally!! If you got out to see us there you would have seen the launch of our Pot Dealer, Pot Head and #MudmanofMoyock apparel and bumper stickers...they went down well, seriously if you haven't gotten yourself one, then hop on over the the store and grab yourself some of the coolest merch in OBX this year :-)
What was Whalehead Wednesdays, now Corolla Cork & Craft were pretty good too, not a busy as Under the Oaks, but we had a great time meeting locals, supporters and lots of new visitors to the area. If you bought one of my pieces I hope it is the start of an obsession, and am grateful, thank you.
What's next? We still have a long way to go before the end of the year and it's going to be filled with more events; Hermitage Handmade Festival, Norfolk this coming Saturday 18th September, super pumped to be exhibiting there, it's a real honor. After that we will be at 2nd Sundays, Williamsburg October, November & December LINK HERE https://g.co/kgs/KGQzoX, so we hope to see you there.
Our Christmas Ornaments for 2021 are FAB-U-LOUS and you are going to want one...limited edition, keep an eye out for them on our Instagram and Facebook feeds, plus we will be featuring them on our website soon.
Also we will be launching a new range of Bonsai planters for Christmas, new pieces with some exciting glazes and now the weather is cooling we'll be firing up the Wood-fired kiln again...can't wait!
Our long overdue Newsletter, Mudman Messenger will be out in the next few weeks, if you do not subscribe then I urge you to get yourself subscribed, link is on the website.
